I am a problem solver by nature and a .NET developer by trade. Eight to ten years ago, when people asked me what I did, I replied, "I fix broken stuff". Nowadays, I do a lot of building as well as fixing, and I like to think that my tagline is something more along the lines of, "I solve business problems". What does that mean? Sometimes it means creating a web portal where customers can pay their bills online. Other times it means building web services to pass data between different software applications and/or clients. Often, it simply means creating a reporting solution that allows executives to make better business decisions based on hard data that provides insight into their customers’ habits and buying patterns. Although I solve different problems for different clients, you will usually find me using Microsoft tools and technologies to make it happen, leaning heavily on the Microsoft stack (specifically .NET, SQL, and SharePoint).
